Goldia L. O'Neil
Mrs. Goldia L. O’Neil, age 91, formerly of Ream Street, Cuba, New York, formerly of Salamanca, New York, died early Friday morning, April 8, 2011, at Olean General Hospital, Olean, New York.
Born on February 28, 1920, in Cato, New York she was the daughter of the late Albert E. and Elsie Vannetten. She had lived in Salamanca since 1951.
Mrs. O’Neil worked for the former Ethan Allen Furniture Company.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars John F. Ahrens Post #5296, the former Women of the Moose Lodge Chapter #96, Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Hughes-Skiba Post #535.
Surviving are several cousins.
Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Tuesday from 12:00 -1:00 PM when funeral services will be held with the Rev Bruce Fish officiating
Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca, New York.
