Helen B. Doner
Helen B. Doner, 74, of Salamanca, New York died late Friday evening at the Absolut of Salamanca following a long illness.
Born on April 2, 1942 in Penn Yan, New York she was the daughter of the late Genevieve Tingue Sharp. She was married in September 1973 to Mr. John Lynn Doner who survives.
Mrs. Doner had been employed the former Langworthy Restaurant in Killbuck, New York and the former Edlee Restaurant in Salamanca, New York.
She enjoyed playing Bingo.
Surviving are: 2 daughters, Debbie Fancher, Kathy Doner, both of Salamanca, New York; 2 sons, Steven Sergeant, Manchester, New York, William (Carisa Jones) Sergeant, Mt. Morris, New York; 15 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; 4 step children, David (Sue) Doner, Salamanca, New York, Debbie (Chuck) Shaffer, Salamanca, New York, Coralyn (Rick) Cover, Great Valley, New York, Charles Doner, Salamanca, New York; 2 brothers, Clifford Strapp, Salamanca, New York, Pat (Donna) Mahaney, Jonesboro, Tenn.; a sister, Dawn Sharp, York, PA; several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation.
