Helen Light

Mrs. Helen Light, age 84, of Bucktooth Run, Little Valley, New York formerly of Division Street, Salamanca, New York died Friday, November 12, 2010 at her home.

Born on April 5, 1926 in Salamanca, New York she was the daughter of the late Peter & Josephine Redish Krysick. She was married in 1945 in St. Patrick's Church, Salamanca, New York to Mr. Norbert Light who predeceased her on April 26, 2002.

Mrs. Light was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish, Altar & Rosary Society, Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Little Valley, New York, S.C.O.U.T. She enjoyed boating, she was an avid bingo player and took great pride in her home. She loved spending time and sharing moments with her grandchildren.

Surviving are: a daughter, Paula Moeller, Frewsburg, New York; a son, James Light, Westfield, Wisconsin; 8 grandchildren, Daniel (Julie) Light, Brockport, New York, Gregory (Jessica) Light, Henrietta, New York, Scott (Kim) Light, Detroit, Michigan, Hans Moeller III, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. , Erik(Terra)Moeller, Virginia, Kurt (Audra) Moeller, Gerry, New York, Karl Moeller, Jamestown, New York, Jalyssa Kahm, Westfield, Wisconsin; 12 great grandchildren; a brother, Matthew (Audrey) Krysick, Great Valley, New York; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Carolyn Light who died in 1950, a son, Charles Light who died June 3, 1977, 2 brothers, Charles Krysick and William Krysick.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial Mass will be held in Our Lady of Peace Parish on Tuesday at 10 A.M. with Rev. Patrick Melfi, pastor, as celebrant.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca, New York.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
