Helen M. Myers

Mrs. Helen M. Myers, 92, of Hamburg, New York, formerly of East Aurora, New York and Sebastian, Florida died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the Absolut at Orchard Park.

Born October 4, 1922 in Great Valley, New York, she was the daughter of Walter and Julia Puvel Brol. She was married on April 7, 1951 to Joseph Myers Sr. who predeceased her on August 27, 2014.

She was employed at Fisher Price in East Aurora, New York prior to her retirement.

Helen was a former member of St. Sebastian Church, Sebastian, Florida.

Surviving are: 1 son, Joseph ( Marjorie)Myers, Jr., White Pine, TN; 2 daughters, Julia (John) Florea, Hamburg, New York , Cynthia (Robert) Lockwood, Brewster, New York; a daughter-in-law, Susan Myers, Pearland, Texas; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Bernice Nolan, Allegany, New York, Sylvia (Dr. Jorge) Deju, Florida; 3 brothers, Walter (Theresa) Brol, Allegany, New York, Gerald (Susie ) Brol, Livonia, New York, Victor (Patricia) Brol, Salamanca, New York; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Michael Myers, 5 sisters, Loretta Kukulwitz, Irene Woodarek, Marian Karl, Veronica Dombeck, Leona Zuzek, 3 brothers, Chester Brol, Edward Brol and David Brol.

There will be no visitation.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday morning, January 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca, New York with Deacon Michael Anderson, of Our Lady of Peace Parish, officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York 14779.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Alzheimer's Research or Hospice of Buffalo, 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, New York 14227.
