Irma J. Pierce

Irma J. Pierce, 79, of Kill Buck, NY died early Wednesday morning, May 31, 2023 at Bradford Manor following a long illness.

Born August 15, 1943 in Salamanca, NY, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Ruth McKinley Johnson.

She was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1960.

Irma had been employed as a Senior Supervising Examiner with Cattaraugus County Social Services for over 36 years retiring in 2000.

She was a member of Riverside Chapel, Salamanca, NY. Irma enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed bowling and crocheting. She was an avid Buffalo Bill fan.

Surviving are: two daughters, Jennifer Wnuk, Meggan Pierce, both of Salamanca, NY; four granddaughters, Deanna Klusek, Salamanca, NY, Amber Klusek, Warren, PA, Baylee Klusek, Salamanca, NY, Hannah Klusek, Salamanca, NY; two grandsons Connor Klusek, Liam Behm, both of Salamanca, NY; a great-grandson, Kairo Jimerson, Salamanca, NY; a sister, Carolyn (Robert) Terhune, Little Valley, NY; a sister-in-law, Gloria Johnson, Little Valley, NY; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Beverly Kahm and a brother, Terence Johnson.

There will be no visitation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
