Jack Hager
Mr. Jack Hager, age 76, of Rotunda West, Florida, formerly of Wildwood Avenue, Salamanca, New York died at home on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 surrounded by his family. He moved to Hanover, PA in 1982 and to Rotonda West, Florida in 1996.
Born on March 22, 1934 in Salamanca, New York he was the son of the late Frances & Lillian Schnabel Hager. Mr. Hager was married on July 24, 1954 to the former Virginia “Ginger†Harvey who survives.
Mr. Hager owned and operated the former Salamanca Print Cutters.
He was a member of BPO Elks Lodge and Loyal Order of the Moose in Englewood, Florida. Previously, he was a member of the Salamanca Booster Club and he coached Little League Football.
Surviving are: 4 sons, Jack (Nyra) Hager, Swansboro, N.C., Jud (Karin) Hager, Salamanca, New York, Joel (Lori) Hager, Abbottstown, PA., Jay (Pam) Hager, Braselton, GA; 2 daughters, Jill (Robert) Curry,Hanover, PA., Joy Anne Hager, Hanover, PA.; 15 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Saturday morning from 10 - 11 A.M. at which time funeral services will be held.
Burial will be in Crawford Cemetery, Salamanca, New York.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Tidewell Hospice, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Florida 34238.
