James F. Nolan

Mr. James F. Nolan, age 87, of Olean, NY, formerly of Salamanca, NY, died Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the Bradford Manor in Bradford, PA following a short illness.

Born on July 22, 1930 in Port Jervis, NY he was the son of the late Sylvester and Ruth Morris Nolan. He was married to the former Frances Decker who predeceased him.

He was a Paratrooper in the U.S. Army serving in post war Japan following WWII.

Mr. Nolan was employed as a truck driver for the University of Utah in Salt Lake City for over 25 years.

He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

Surviving are a daughter, Shannon (Dennis) Seybert, Limestone, NY; 4 grandchildren;3 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Francis Nolan, Salamanca, NY and Robert Nolan, Cambridge Springs, PA; several nieces and nephews; a dear friend, Ila Webster, Limestone, NY.

There will be no visitation.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca, NY.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
