James H. Skiver Jr.

Mr. James H. Skiver Jr., 56, of Hinsdale, NY died Friday afternoon, July 6, 2018 at Olean General Hospital following a long illness.

Born July 15, 1961 in Salamanca, NY, he was the son of James Sr. and Janet Stevens Skiver of Salamanca. He was married April 2, 1983 in Kill Buck to the former Anna Wright, who survives.

He had been employed at M&M Auto Dismantling in Limestone and J&S Auto in Great Valley.

Surviving besides his parents and wife are: two daughters, Sandra (Teddy Doner) Wright, Salamanca, NY, Jessica Neumann, Olean, NY; a son, Jerod Kane, Olean, NY; a grandson, Connor; a sister, Barbara Skiver; two brothers, Jeff Skiver, Dan Skiver; several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral services are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association.
