James Vance

Mr. James L. Vance, age 54, of 3594 Hiller Road, Jimersontown, New York died Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Olean General Hospital , Olean, New York.

Born on September 21, 1956 in Buffalo, New York he was the son of the late Lester and Beatrice Warrior Vance.

He had been employed as a long haul truck driver. Most recently, he was employed in security at the Seneca Gaming Corp.

Mr. Vance was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Deer Clan.

Surviving are: several children; a sister, Gloria Warrior, Salamanca, New York; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Beatrice Vance.

Friends may call at the family home, 3594 Hiller Road, Jimersontown, New York all day Wednesday.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 10 A.M. in the family home.

Burial will be in Hillside Haven Cemetery, Steamburg, New York.
