Jane L. Bowley
Jane Louise Bowley, age 76, of Central Avenue, Salamanca, New York died early Saturday morning, January 5, 2013 at Buffalo General Hospital, Buffalo, New York.
Born September 16, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Edward & Beatrice McClune Donlin. She was married April 7, 1956 at the former First United Methodist Church to Mr. Wayne Bowley who survives.
She was employed for Dr. George Goldstein O.D. until her retirement. Previously, she had been employed at the former Hunt Furniture Company and Brundage News Company.
Mrs. Bowley was a member of the United Congregational Methodist Church, where she conducted a Women's Bible Study group and served as church treasurer. She was a Girl Scout Leader for many years.
Surviving are: 2 daughters, Karen (Peter) Quattrone, Salamanca, NY, Joyce Newark, Marathon, FL; 5 grandsons, Robert Bly, Timothy Bly, Joshua Matthews, Andrew Newark, Jeremy Newark; 2 great granddaughters, Kaydence Newark, Gabrielle Bly; a great grandson, Ayden Newark; several cousins and 1 niece.
She was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Shubert in 1984 and a brother, James Donlin in 1983.
There will be no visitation. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 11 am in the United Congregational Methodist Church, 134 Broad Street, Salamanca with Paster Joshua Schallert officiating.
