Jared A. Roode

Jared A. Roode, 26, of Salamanca, NY passed away unexpectedly on June 27, 2023.

Born June 4, 1997 in Olean, NY, he was the son of Amanda Lindemuth Riley of Salamanca, NY and Gary Roode of Norwich, CT.

He was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Beaver Clan.

He earned his GED through the Seneca Nation of Indians.

Jared had been employed as a cashier and cook with the Seneca Gaming Authority, Salamanca, NY.

He enjoyed skateboarding, fishing, and most of all, spending time with his children.

Surviving besides his parents are: three children, Harper Roode, Rew, PA, Jared “June” Roode Jr., Honey Roode, both of Salamanca, NY; two siblings, Dylan Roode, Sunny O’Connor, both of Salamanca, NY; maternal grandparents, Steve and Cindy Lindemuth, Bradford, PA; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Gary and Linda Roode.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Friday, June 30, 2023 from 1 – 3pm.
