Jeanette Ball

Jeanette F. Ball, age 83, of Chico California formerly of Prospect Ave. Salamanca, New York died Monday (September 7, 2009) at her home in Chico, California.

Born on December 16, 1926 in Salamanca, New York she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Rose Bzdak. She was married to Mr. Walter Ball who predeceased her in 1982.

Jeanette enjoyed times with family, reading and doing crosswords. Despite her ataxia, her strength, sense of humor, and love of family carried through her life.

Surviving are 3 daughters Carol (Ron) Henning, Chico, C.A., Peggy Ball, Richmond, C.A., Mary Drea Ball, Oakland, C.A.; 3 sons, Thomas Ball, Chico, C.A., John (Shannon) Ball, Salamanca, David Ball, Des Moines, IA; 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, one sister, Maxine Bucior, Warren, P.A.

She was predeceased by a son Billy Ball and a grandson Janssen Ball.

Friends may call at O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home 25 River Street Salamanca, New York,on Monday from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. when funeral services will be held with the Rev. J. Patrick Melfi, pastor of Our Lady of Peace officiating.

Burial will be Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca, New York.
