Jeanette Krantz

Jeanette A. Krantz, age 92, of 204 Highland Ave., Salamanca, died Sunday, June 6, 2010 at the Absolut of Salamanca.

Born December 8, 1917, in Salamanca, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Ruth Armstrong Sweet. She was married to the late Robert Krantz, who predeceased her on December 15, 2005.

Mrs. Krantz was employed as a teacher’s aide at Seneca School.

She was a member of the Great Valley Baptist Church.

Surviving are 2 sons, Gary (Sandra) Krantz, Salamanca, Greg ( Mary) Krantz, Arlington, TX; 2 grandsons, Jeffrey Krantz, Salamanca, Todd (Lisa) Krantz, Salamanca, 2 great-grandsons, Dekkyn Krantz and Brayden Krantz; 2 sisters, Betty (Robert) Hull, Perry, NY, Marilyn (Mason) Loucks, Great Valley, NY; several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at the 1st Methodist Church of Great Valley Sunday, June 13 at 3 p.m. with assistant pastor Richard "Bucky" Young officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.

Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca, NY.
