Jeanne Doner

Jeanne Doner, age 74, Sullivan Hollow Road, Killbuck, New York died Monday morning, April 2, 2012 at the Bradford Regional Medical Center, Bradford, PA.

Born on February 3, 1938 in Beverly, MA she was the daughter of the late Jon & Ethel Bixby. She was married on June 17, 1956 in MA to Mr. Clair Doner, who survives.

Mrs. Doner was employed at the Cattaraugus County Nursing Home in both Machias and Olean, NY and the former Salamanca District Hospital prior to her retirement.

She was a former member of the Eagles Club in Olean, NY and she enjoyed crocheting.

Surviving besides her husband are: a daughter, Jeannie Doner, Salamanca, NY; 3 sons, Percy (Theresa) Doner, Bellafonte, PA, Stephen (Carrie Dulanski) Doner, Killbuck, NY, Todd (Billie Jo Nolder) Doner, Great Valley, NY; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Bixby, Beverly, MA; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Loujene Doner, 2 brothers, Richard Bixby, Ralph Bixby.

A memorial service will be held in St. Mary's Episcopal Church on Monday morning, April 16, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. with Rev. Michael Lonto, pastor, officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
