Jeffery A. Sarver

Jeffery A. Sarver, age 64, of Olean, New York died Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo, New York following brief illness.

Born on November 6, 1951 in Butler, PA he was the son of Nancy Jewell Sarver , Butler, PA and the late C. Dallas Sarver Sr.. He was married on August 18, 2001 in St. Mary’s Episcopal Church to the former Kathleen Metzler who survives.

He had been employed in Security at the Seneca Allegany Casino in Salamanca, NY. Previously, he had been employed as a truck driver for Butler Trucking.

Mr. Sarver was a former social member of the American Legion Hughes - Skiba Post #535 and the Holy Cross Athletic Club.

Surviving besides his wife and mother are: 3 sons, Jeffery A. (Judy) Sarver, Charlotte, N.C., Rex “Burt” (Amanda) Sarver, Monroesville, N.C., Patrick Sarver, Jefferson, Maine; 3 daughters, Victoria Sarver, Jefferson, Maine, Anna Sarver, Jefferson, Maine, Leaudra (Dylan Hackett) Sarver, Salamanca, New York; 4 grandchildren, Paige, Chase, Theodore, and Dakota; a brother, C. Dallas (Mary) Sarver Jr., West Sunbury, PA; 3 sisters, Deborah Minor, Cincinatti, Ohio, Cindy(Lewis) Haney, Dayton, Ohio, Susan (Robert) Perkins, Evans City, PA; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may attend a funeral service on Saturday, February 20, 2016 in Thompson-Miller Funeral Home in Butler, PA at a time to be announced.

Local funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
