Jessica L. Caswell

Jessica L. Caswell, 38, of Salamanca, NY died Monday evening, February 26, 2024 at Mercy Hospital, Buffalo, NY following a sudden illness.

Born July 12, 1985 in Charleston, SC, she was the daughter of Richard C. Wahl Jr., Kenosha, WI and Judith R. Atwater, Salamanca, NY. She was married on May 19, 2012 at the Ellicottville Arboretum to Travis L. Caswell, who survives.

She was a graduate of Ellicottville Central School, Class of 2003.

Jessica had been employed as the housekeeping supervisor with the Inn at Holiday Valley, Ellicottville, NY for over 17 years.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending local sporting events. She was an avid bowler and loved NASCAR. She enjoyed family vacations and loved dogs.

Surviving besides her parents and husband are: two daughters, Faith (Ivan Solat) Brown, Jaelynne Brown, both of Salamanca, NY; two sons, James Brown, Ryan Caswell, both of Salamanca, NY; one sister, Bobbie (Shawn) Hunt, Cohocton, NY; a brother, Richard (Louella) Wahl III, Great Lakes, IL; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a nephew, Emery Lafferty.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Michael Lonto officiating.

Burial will be in Crawford Cemetery, Salamanca, NY.
