Jessie Fish

Jessie J. Fish, age 77, of Great Valley, New York died Wednesday morning, September 26, 2012, at her home.

Born January 25, 1935 in Limestone, New York, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Sr. and Margaret Thompson Beals.

She was employed as a waitress at the Plaza Restaurant in Salamanca and at the DeSoto & Holiday House in Bradford, PA, and in the kitchen at Salamanca Central High School.

Ms. Fish enjoyed cooking, baking, and doing crosswords.

Surviving are: 3 sons, Robert Jr. (Shelley) Fish, Little Valley, NY, Daniel (Brenda) Fish, Salamanca, NY, Louis (Dawn) Fish, Salamanca, NY; 8 grandchildren, Robert Magiera II, Bloomington, IN, Danyle Magiera, Olean, NY, Travis Wallace, Great Valley, NY, Rusty Wallace, Great Valley, NY, Alissa Wallace, Conway, SC, Jessica Fish, Salamanca, NY, Kaylee Fish, Salamanca, NY, Jared Fish, Salamanca, NY; 1 great-granddaughter, Emma Gene Wallace, Great Valley, NY; 2 sisters, Fraw Blakeslee, Belleview, FL, Margaret Ahrens, Belleview, FL; 1 brother, Harry (Martha) Beals, Conneaut, OH; several nieces and nephews; a beloved family dog, Gizmo; and a long-term companion Garland Ward.

She was predeceased by a sister, Betty Gibble, and 2 brothers, Jack Beals and Clifford Beals Jr.

Friends may call at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., when funeral and committal services will be held with Rev. Michael Lonto, pastor of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca, New York.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Homecare & Hospice.
