Jetta Cole
Mrs. Jette L. Cole, 75, of 651 Wildwood Avenue, Salamanca, New York died Saturday morning (September 27, 2008 at the Olean General Hospital, Olean New York following a brief illness.
Born January 31, 1933 in Salamanca New York she was the daughter of the late Warren and Gertrude Roberts Passmore. She was married in Holy Cross Church on June 21, 1952 to Mr. James E. Cole who survives.
Mrs. Cole was employed at the former Fishers Big Wheel, Palmers Bakery, Ickys Cookies and Bradohm Electronics, all in Salamanca, New York. Additionally she worked as a school crossing guard for the City of Salamanca.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Hughes-Skiba Post # 535, enjoyed camping, boating, and ceramics.
Surviving besides her husband are one son Mr. Donald Cole; one daughter Debra (Carson) Waterman,two granddaughters Casey L. Waterman, Chelsea R. Cole, all of Salamanca, New York, one brother , Joseph (Carol) Passmore, Salamanca, New York, two sisters Jean Russet, Yuma, AZ, Nancy (Ted) Baker, Great Valley, New York, several nieces and nephews
A brother, Warren Passmore JR.preceded Mrs. Cole in death.
Their will be no visitation. A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Peace, (Holy Cross Chapel) at a date and time to be announced.
