Joan Rinko

Joan Rinko, age 77, of Humphrey Road, Great Valley, New York died early Sunday afternoon, January 25, 2009 at Olean General Hospital following a short illness.

Born on October 4, 1931 in Ellicottville, New York she was the daughter of the late Glen and Ruth Devine Chamberlain.

She was married May 23, 1953 in St. Pacificus Church to Mr. Philip Rinko who predeceased her in January 20054.

Mrs. Rinko was employed with NYS Department of Social Services for over 25 years retiring in 1986.

She was a member of St. Pacificus Church, Humphrey, New York.

Surviving are: a daughter, Rebecca (Larry) Matuskiewicz, Humphrey Road, Humphrey, new York; a grandson, Phillip John Matuskiewicz, Humphrey, New York; an aunt, Marjorie Williams, Humphrey, New York; a special cousin, M. Rita Timme, Humphrey, New York.

She was predeceased by a brother, Keith Chamberlain in September 1972.

Friends may call at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Tuesday from 3-5 P.M.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Pacificus Church, Humphrey, New York on Wednesday at 9:00 A.M. with Father Joseph C. Carlo officiating.

Burial will be in St. Pacificus Cemetery, Humphrey, New York.
