Joel D. Adamic

Joel D. Adamic, 59, of Salamanca, NY died Sunday, April 30, 2023 at the Absolut Care of Salamanca after a brave battle with cancer.

Born May 16, 1963 in Salamanca, NY, he was the son of Marilyn Rice Adamic of Lake Panasoffkee, FL. and the late Robert J. Adamic.

He was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1981.

Joel worked for the Broward County School District, Fort Lauderdale, FL. for many years.

He enjoyed cooking, tending his yard, following family and friends on Facebook, and cheering for the Buffalo Bills.

Joel was a member of the American Legion Hughes-Skiba Post 535, VFW John F. Ahrens Post 5296, and the Holy Cross Athletic Club.

Surviving besides his mother are: a brother, Jeffry D. Adamic, Glendale, AZ; a sister, Jill (Thomas) Hart, Salamanca, NY; and a brother, Jerry Adamic, Little Valley, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

Joel was predeceased by two brothers, Jay Adamic, Florida, and John Adamic, the Netherlands.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
