Joey "jobob" Redeye
Mr. Joey M. “JoBob†Redeye, age 47, of Center Road, Jimersontown, New York died unexpectedly early Thursday morning, December 17, 2009 at his home.
Born on April 10, 1962 in Salamanca, New York he was the son of Erna Jones Redeye of Jimersontown, New York and the late Stewart “Jo-Jo†Redeye. He was a resident of Red House prior to the Kinzua Dam relocation.
Mr. Redeye had currently been employed by Lake Erie Tobacco in Killbuck, New York. He had served several years as the appointed Game Warden for the Seneca Nation of Indians. Also, he had been employed for many years as a Logger and in Security positions.
He was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Bear Clan. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving besides his mother are: his beloved sister, Angela Redeye Steckman, R.C. Hoag Drive, Salamanca, New York; 2 beloved and cherished nieces, Kasey Steckman and Jules Steckman, Salamanca, New York; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He predeceased by his beloved brother, Howard “Bear†Redeye.
Friends may call at the home of William Jones, 3557 Center Road, Jimersontown, New York on Saturday after 4 and all day Sunday.
Funeral services will be held at the home of Mr. Jones on Monday afternoon at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Wallace Mapes, of the Healing Reigns Fellowship, officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery, Jimersontown, New York.
