John Clark

Mr. John Clark, 49, of Jimerson Road, Little Valley, NY died Friday, January 5, 2018 at Lakeshore Hospital, Irving, NY.

Born on July 6, 1968 in Salamanca, NY, he was the son of Karen Bucktooth-DuBois, Irving, NY and the late Murray “Basil” Clark. He was married to the former Melinda Miller, who survives.

Mr. Clark owned and operated Clark’s Logging in Little Valley, NY. He also had owned and operated the former Fat John’s in Salamanca, NY.

He was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Wolf Clan. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Surviving besides his wife and mother are: three sons, Jayk (Sydney Watt) Clark, Steamburg, NY, Allegany Clark, Shane Clark, both of Little Valley, NY; two grandchildren, Melanee and Dominic; two sisters, Jackie Kalyan,Salamanca, NY, Ruth Ann (Mark) French, Jimersontown, NY; a brother, Barney (Trishell Murphy) Clark, Salamanca; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Clark and Martha Carumer.

Friends may call at the family home, 8367 Jimerson Road, Little Valley, NY on Saturday after 4 p.m. and all day Sunday.

Funeral services will be held at the family home on Monday morning at 9:30 a.m.

Burial will be in Hillside Haven Cemetery, Steamburg, NY.
