John Nosal
Mr. John David Nosal, age 64, of Salamanca, NY, died Thursday, September 1, 2011, at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, NY.
Born May 22, 1947 in Salamanca, NY, he was the son of the late John and Geraldine Whitcomb Nosal .
Mr. Nosal was employed most recently at Worth W. Smith Hardware in Salamanca, NY. He had been previously employed at the CA Lounsbury, Puvel's Service Station as a mechanic, and Bedell's.
He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish, the Salamanca Planning Commission, and the Holy Cross Athletic Club in Salamanca, NY. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, NASCAR racing, hunting and fishing, and local racing.
Surviving are 2 sisters, Mary Bierfeldt, Lackawanna, NY and Cathy (Irving) Negran, New Port Richey, FL; 1 brother, James (Gina) Nosal, Orchard Park, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY, on Friday, September 9thn from 4-7 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace Parish, Salamanca, NY, with Rev. Patrick Melfi as celebrant.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials go to the American Heart Association, 20 Northpointe Parkway, Buffalo, NY 14228.
