John P. McCormick Sr.

John P. McCormick Sr., Age 79, of 4058 Newton Street, Salamanca, New York died Saturday, October 9, 2010 at his home.

Born on February 12, 1931 in Ray, Arizona he was the son of the late William and Gladys Tulioico McCormick.

He was veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving as Aircraft Mechanic in Texas and Arizona. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal.

Mr. McCormick was employed in the Maintenance Department at Cochise College in Lakeside, Arizona prior to his retirement.

He was a volunteer at the hospital in Lakeside, Arizona after his retirement.

Surviving are a son, John (Pam) McCormick Jr., Buckeye, Arizona; 2 daughters, Kathy (John) Whelan, Glendale, Arizona, Christine (Daniel) Pelton, Salamanca, New York; 9 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews..

There will be no visitation or funeral services.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
