John Zelinski

Mr. John P. Zelinski, age 81, formerly of 17 Oakland Avenue, Salamanca, New York died Thursday, March 19, 2009 at The Absolut, Salamanca, New York.

Born on May 27, 1927 in Salamanca, New York he was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Zelinski.

He was a veteran of the U.S. air Force.

Mr. Zelinski was employed as a Receiving Clerk at Jamestown Metal in Jamestown, New York prior to his retirement.

He was a member of the Holy Cross Athletic Club.

Surviving are: a son, Michael (Kim) Zelinski, Salamanca, New York; 2 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; 2 nephews and 1 niece.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
