Jonathan G. Moore

Jonathan G. Moore, 74, of Salamanca, NY died at home, Monday, April 10, 2023 following a short illness.

Born June 5, 1948 in Olean, NY, he was the son of the late Arthur H. Moore. He was married in Crosby, PA in 1978 to the former Terrie L. Ream, who survives.

He attended Austin High School, Austin, PA.

Jonathan had owned and operated J&M Contracting, Olean, NY for over 30 years, retiring in 2012.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, hiking, and watching professional football and baseball. He was an avid traveler who enjoyed collectables as well as listening to music.

Surviving are: two daughters Julie (Todd) Doud, Randolph, NY, Shannon Moore, Olean, NY; four sons, Matthew (Neola) Moore, Smethport, PA, Daniel Moore, David (Marie) Moore, both of Olean, NY, Butch Jones, Columbia, MO; seven grandsons; a granddaughter; two great-granddaughters; two sisters, Ladonna Gustafson, Ramona Wagner, both of Mexico, MO; three brothers, Kenny Moore, Omaha, NE, Bernie (Jodi) Moore, Richard Jones, both of Columbiana MO; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Debbie Peterson, and two brothers, Charlie Moore and Donavan Moore.

There will be no visitation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.
