Joseph A. Oliverio
Joseph A. Oliverio, age 95, of Spring Hill, Florida, formerly of Salamanca, New York died Saturday, June 18, 2016 at W.C.A. Hospital in Jamestown, New York.
Born on in Salamanca, New York he was the son of the late Rocco & Domenica Condina Oliverio.
Mr. Oliverio was employed As a Brakeman with the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad in Salamanca, New York retiring in 1976.
He was a member of the former St. Patrick’s Church. He enjoyed his garden, his horses, and playing his trumpet.
Surviving are: 2 sons, Richard (Jackie) Oliverio, Palm Springs, California, Daniel (Rose) Oliverio, Spring Hill, Florida; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Vincent (Angela) Oliverio, Salamanca, New York, Anthony Oliverio, Reno, Nevada; a sister, Rose Burlingame, Olean, New York; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son, David Rocco Oliverio, 2 brothers, Cosmo Oliverio, Damien Oliverio, and a sister, Catherine Vecchiarella.
There will be no visitation.
A memorial mass will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
