Joseph Lockhart
Mr. Joseph Lockhart, age 72, of Salamanca, NY died Friday morning, December 2, 2011 at Olean General Hospital, Olean, NY.
Born on December 2, 1939 in Dubois, PA, he was the son of the late Cortland and Virginia McCracken Lockhart.
Mr. Lockhart was employed at the former C. B. Norton Sawmill in Great Valley, NY.
He enjoyed riding his bicycle.
Surviving are: 5 sisters, Patricia (Chauncey) Brace, Salamanca, NY, Frances (Willy) Chesser, Las Vegas, NV, Thelma (Dan) Budzinski, Beverly (Joe) Thompson, both of Hanover, PA, Martha (Rickey) Armstrong, Salamanca, NY; 3 brothers, Douglas (Vera) Lockhart, Franklinville, NY, Robert (Mary Lou) Lockhart, Kendall, NY, and George (Milly) Lockhart, Franklinville, NY; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Jackie Lockhart, and 2 brothers, William Lockhart and Vernon Lockhart.
Friends may call at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Tuesday, December 6, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, December 7, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Michael Lonto, pastor of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Prospect Cemetery, Franklinville, NY.
