Joyce L. Bowley

Ms. Joyce L. Bowley, 53, of 580 79th Street, Marathon, FL, passed away on September 4, 2014 of an illness.

Born August 24, 1961, she was the daughter of Wayne H. Bowley, Salamanca, NY, and the late Jane L. Donlin Bowley, who predeceased her on January 5, 2013. She is also survived by her fiancé, George D. Dulanski Sr.

She mostly enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren – they were the love of her life. She also enjoyed gardening, quilting, and spending time with her friends. Later in life, she moved to Florida to enjoy the beautiful sunshine.

Surviving besides her fiancé and father are: 2 sons, Andrew Burton (Angela Bialaszewski) Newark, Salamanca, NY and Jeremy Allen Newark, Marathon, FL; 1 sister, Karen (Peter Jr.) Quattrone, Salamanca, NY; 2 wonderful grandchildren, Kaydence M. Newark and Ayden A. Newark, both of Salamanca, NY.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 29, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the United Congregational Methodist Church with Pastor Raymond Gilman officiating and with the eulogy given by Pastor Joshua Schallert.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Kirk of the Keys Presbyterian Church, Marathon, FL, at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Empire Animal Rescue, the Diabetes Foundation, or the American Cancer Society.
