Judith "Judy" Whitcomb-Rhodes

Judith "Judy" A. Whitcomb-Rhodes, age 75, of Kill Buck, New York, died Sunday, October 20, 2013 at the Pines Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Olean, New York surrounded by her loving family.

Born January 15, 1938 in Salamanca, New York, she was the daughter of the late Maynard and Lucille George Whitcomb.

She had been employed at Fisher Price in Holland, New York prior to her retirement.

She was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians, Wolf Clan.

Surviving are: a sister, Bernice Slocum, Salamanca, New York; a brother, Michael Whitcomb, Kill Buck, New York; 2 sisters-in-law, Carolyn Whitcomb, Salamanca, New York and Marianne Whitcomb, Olean, New York; 5 nieces, Renee (Bruce) Abrams, Paula (Darryl) Slocum-Hammer, Alicia Slocum, Luanne (Kristen) Sledge-Whitcomb, all of Salamanca, New York, and Jaimi Putzke, Florida; 5 nephews, Paul (Dolores) Whitcomb, Todd (Johnette) Whitcomb, Darrin Whitcomb, all of Salamanca, New York, Chad (Tina Taylor) Whitcomb, Jamestown, New York, Daniel (Nancy) Whitcomb, Rochester, New York; many great nieces and nephews, and her loving dog, Mitzi.

Judy was predeceased by a brother, Paul Whitcomb and a brother-in-law, Thomas Slocum.

Friends may call at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Saturday from noon – 2 P.M. when funeral and committal services will be held with Dennis Durfee, Hospice Chaplin, officiating.

Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca, New York.
