Judy E. Jacoby

Judy E. Jacoby, age 58 , of Mutton Hollow Road, Great Valley, New York died Monday morning, September 27, 2010 surrounded by her family.

Born on January 29, 1952 in Salamanca, New York she was the daughter of Dorothy Harrison Jacoby, Great Valley, New York and the late William "Dale" Jacoby.

Most recently, Judy was employed with the Seneca Allegany Casino.

She was an avid sports fan, enjoying any type of baseball, softball, football, hockey, and rarely missed watching her great nieces and nephews' soccer games. She loved to camp with her family and enjoyed bowling. She was a member of "Rays of Hope" Relay for Life Team.

Surviving besides her mother are: a daughter, Pamela J. (Andrew) Kaptein, Webster, New York; 4 grandchildren, Andrea, Victoria, Nicholas and Hannah, Webster, New York; 3 sisters, Dorothy "Ann" Imhoff, Bradford, Pa., Carol J. (Dennis) Daly, Cattaraugus, New York, Alice (Dennis) Brewer, Great Valley, New York; a brother, William (Chris) Jacoby, Great Valley, New York; 12 nieces and nephews; 26 great nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donation the American Cancer Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
