June Lacroix
Mrs. June Lacroix, 90, formerly of Red House, New York died Sunday morning (May 24, 2009) at the Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Machias New York.
Born June 1, 1918 in Red House, New York, she was the daughter of the late Deforest and Bessie Wentworth Fuller. She was married on June 12, 1938 in Red House, New York to Mr. Edward Lacroix who predeceased her on September 23, 1989.
Mrs. Lacroix was the Town Justice for Red House for twenty-five years retiring in 1998. Previously she was employed at the former Dach’s Red House Inn.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Mizpah Chapter, Salamanca Bowling Association, Allegany State Park Historical Society, and the Town Magistrates.
Surviving are two sons Mr. Ted (Amy) Lacroix, Great Valley, New York, Mr. Terry (Paula) Lacroix, Salamanca, New York, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one niece, and one nephew
A brother Howard Fuller predeceased Mrs. Lacroix.
Friends may call on at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Tuesday from 10:15until 11:00 AM when funeral services will be held
Burial will be in Steamburg Cemetery, Steamburg, New York
