Kenneth R. Ledsome

Mr. Kenneth R. Ledsome, age 89, of Salamanca, NY died Wednesday morning, February 14, 2018 at The Absolut of Salamanca following a long illness.

Born on April 26, 1928 in Fairmont, West Virginia he was the son of the late Russell and Stella Woodring Ledsome. He was married on June 21, 1980 to the former Josephine Revetti who predeceased him on April 8, 2017.

Mr. Ledsome was employed at the former Salco Plant for 30 years prior to his retirement.

He was an avid fisherman.

Surviving are:2 sons, Tim (Rose) Ledsome, Ross (Sherry) Ledsome, both of Salamanca, NY; a daughter, Susan Sequoyah, of Salamanca, NY; 4 grandchildren, Kenneth (Alison) Ledsome, Weston, FL, Bethany Ledsome, Salamanca, NY, Mark Finch, Salamanca, NY, Luis (Jen) Castellano, Salamanca, NY; 5 great grandchildren, Coby Ledsome, Galen Ledsome, Adessa Castellano, Brantson Castellano, all of Salamanca, NY, Carter Ledsome, Weston, FL; 2 stepsons, David Vesotski, Dennis Vesotski, both of Salamanca, NY.

He was predeceased by a grandson, Landon Sequoyah on May 18, 2015.

There will be no visitation.

A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
