Kimberly Halftown
Kimberly S. Halftown, age 43, of Irish Hill Road, Ellicottville, New York passed away Saturday evening, June 19, 2010 at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital, Springville, New York from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Born on May 24, 1967 in Salamanca, New York she was the daughter of Eldena Cooper Halftown and the late Virgil Halftown. She was married in September 2003 in Ellicottville, New York to Mr. William “Bill” Meyer who survives.
Kimberly was a graduate of Salamanca High School Class of 1985. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Empire State College.
She was employed with the Seneca Allegany Casino as a Licensing Manager for over 5 years.
Kimberly was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Heron Clan. She enjoyed being around her friends and family. She was a motorcycling enthusiast and enjoyed her animals especially her dogs and cat.
Surviving besides her husband and her mother are: a sister, Georgi Lecceardone, Salamanca, New York, a half sister, Leona (Jay) Lichy, Salamanca, New York; a brother, Mark Halftown, Jimersontown, New York; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the family home, 3746 Center Road, Jimersontown, New York on Tuesday after 12.00 P.M. noon and all day Wednesday.
Funeral services will be held at the family home on Thursday morning at 10:00 A.M. with Speaker Dar Dowdy officiating.
Burial will be in Hillside Haven Cemetery, Steamburg, New York.
