Linda M. Frey

Linda M. Frey, 69, of Salamanca, NY, died Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Salamanca Rehabilitation & Nursing Center following a long illness.

Born April 5, 1952 in Salamanca, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Irene Husa Kissel. She was married on April 15, 1971 in Maryland to Francis L. Frey, who survives.

She was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1970.

Linda had been employed as a food service assistant with the Salamanca Central School System, Salamanca, NY for over 20 years, retiring in 2003.

She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish who enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting/ knitting, attending sporting events, summer vacations, and she also loved her dogs.

Surviving besides her husband are: two daughters, Pam Frey, Salamanca, NY, Kelly Frey-Breary, Hamburg, NY; a son, Chris Frey, Salamanca, NY; two stepdaughters, Tina (Ken Morris Sr.) Adams, Iris (William) Butler, both of Salamanca, NY; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Peace Parish, 274 Broad Street, Salamanca, NY, on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 10:30am with Father Patrick Melfi, administrator, officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
