Lorraine Smith

Mrs. Lorraine Smith, age 80, formerly of Olean, New York died early Wednesday morning, May 6, 2015 at The Absolut of Salamanca, New York following a long illness.

She was born January 27, 1935 in Ogdensburg, New Jersey. She was married in Andover, New Jersey to Mr. Raymond Smith who survives.

Mrs. Smith was employed as a driver for Carrier Coach in Olean, New York prior to her retirement. She had previously been employed with Thatcher Glass in Dover, New Jersey.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Roman-Catholic Church in Olean and enjoyed cooking.

Surviving besides her husband are: a daughter, Deborah Rogers, Lawrenceville, GA; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gregory Galiando.

There will be no visitation or local services.

Burial will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery in Ogdensburg, New Jersey.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
