Lucille A. Harvey

Mrs. Lucille A. Harvey, age 89, formerly of South Main Street, Salamanca, New York, died Thursday morning, April 11, 2013 at The Pines Health & Rehab in Olean, New York.

Born February 17, 1924 in Salamanca, New York, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Catherine Beatty Forness. She was married on September 19, 1945 in the former St. Patrick's Church to Mr. James Harvey, who predeceased her on November 19, 1989.

She was employed as the Senior Account Clerk Typist in the Salamanca City Clerk's Office, retiring in 1986, after twenty-one years service.

Surviving are: 1 granddaughter, Lisa Curtis, Olean, NY; 3 great-grandchildren, Janelle Curtis, Olean, NY, Ryan Curtis, Concord, NC , Zachary Ramsey, Olean, NY; 1 great-great granddaughter, Rylin Curtis, Concord, NC;1 brother, Richard "Goop" Forness, Salamanca, NY; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by 1 daughter, Linda Survil in 1987 and 2 sisters, Kathleen Jonas and Rita Meyer.

Friends may call in the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Monday, April 15, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at which time a prayer service will be held, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. in the Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Patrick Melfi, pastor of Our Lady of Peace Parish, officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca, NY.
