Lucille Budzinski
Mrs. Lucille M. Budzinski, age 95, of Central Avenue, Salamanca, New York died Wednesday evening, January 6, 2010 following a brief illness.
Born May 31, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Louis & Josephine Zielinski Polasik. Mrs. Budzinski was married on February 3, 1943 in Battlecreek, Michigan to the late Floyd Budzinski who predeceased her in 1978.
Mrs. Budzinski cared for children for over 25 years. She enjoyed her family as well as cooking and shopping at the Broadway Market in Buffalo, New York. She was also an avid reader.
She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish and it’s Rosary Society.
Surviving are: 1 daughter, Miss Mary Budzinski, Central Avenue, Salamanca; 1 son, Tom Budzinski, Buffalo, New York; 2 sisters, Marie (Henry) Griehm, Salamanca, Ann Sipko, Ft Meyers, Florida; 2 brothers, Carl Polasik, Salamanca, Paul (Betty Lou) Polasik, Hornell, New York: several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Raymond Polasik and Leo Polasik.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday morning at 10:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Peace Parish with Rev. Patrick Melfi, pastor, as celebrant.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca, New York.
The Rosary of Christian Hope will be recited in the funeral home on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 P.M.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Salamanca Public Library Memorial Fund or the Our Lady of Peace Parish Memorial Fund.
