Luz Gonzalez

Mrs. Luz Gonzalez, age 93, of Rte. 353, Salamanca, New York died Wednesday evening, February 20, 2013 at her home.

Born on January 5, 1920 in Canovanas, Puerto, Rico she was the daughter of the late Alejandro & Felicita Gautier Berrios. She was married on September 13, 1947 in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico to Mr. Luis Gonzalez who predeceased her on January 7, 1998.

Mrs. Gonzalez enjoyed cooking, bingo, and spending time with her family.

Surviving are: a daughter, Wilma (John) Baker, Center Street Extension, Salamanca, New York; a son Luis (Sylvia Nunez) Gonzalez Jr., Jamestown, New York ; 4 grandchildren, John Baker Jr., Rte. 353, Salamanca, New York, Michael Baker, Salamanca, New York, Virginia Gonzalez, Puerto Rico, Joshua (Mercedes) Gonzalez, Jamestown, New York; one great grandchild, Landon T. Baker, Salamanca, New York.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca, New York.
