Lynn Weaver

Lynn A. Weaver, 65, of Salamanca, NY died unexpectedly Saturday, October 7, 2023 at home.

Born May 29, 1958 in Salamanca, NY, he was the son of the late William and Phyllis Leach Weaver. He was married on October 1, 1988 at the former Kissinger United Methodist Church, Salamanca, NY to Carol Yarnes, who survives.

He was a graduate of Little Valley High School, Class of 1976.

Lynn had been employed with Antones in Salamanca for over ten years, recently retiring in September. He had previously been employed with CB Norton & Sons, Great Valley, NY for over 20 years until its closing.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting & fishing. He was an aquarium enthusiast and cared for many tropical fish. He also enjoyed NFL football.

Surviving besides his wife are: a daughter, Dawn Bish, Salamanca, NY; a son William Weaver, Salamanca, NY; eight grandchildren; six sisters, Dawn Krotz, Brocton, NY, Jean Pierce, Olean, NY, Janet (Fred) Hadley, Mansfield, NY, Melody (John) Slater, Salamanca, NY, Marilyn (Hank) Jacoby, Portville, NY, Ellen Weaver, Olean, NY; a brother, William (Linda) Weaver, Cattaraugus, NY; a sister-in-law, Susan Weaver, Jamestown, NY; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Howard “Sam” Weaver.

There will be no visitation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
