Marga Arena

Mrs. Marga Arena, 62, of Salamanca, NY died Sunday, February 25, 2018 at home surrounded by family.

Born April 5, 1955 in Olean, NY, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Ruth Chamberlain Rinko. She was married on April 28, 1973 in St. Pacificus Church, Humphrey, NY to Mr. Roy Arena, who predeceased her on September 5, 2008.

Mrs. Arena was employed by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Department as a Pistol Permit Clerk for 28 years.

She was a member of the former St. Pacificus Church. She enjoyed playing Euchre, bowling, target shooting, cooking, going to area gun shows, and immensely enjoyed her customers.

Surviving are: a daughter, Antonia “Toni” (T. Dale) Dineen, Salamanca, NY; a son, Roy “Andy” (Kerri Wyatt) Arena, Salamanca, NY; two granddaughters, Bailey & Piper Dineen, Salamanca, NY; a sister, Kathleen Rinko, Humphrey, NY; several beloved cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Pacificus Oratory, Humphrey, NY on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ronald Mierzwa, pastor of Holy Name of Mary Church, Ellicottville, NY, as celebrant.

Burial will be Green Cemetery, Great Valley, NY.
