Marion Cooper

Mrs. Marion Cooper, age 89, of 44 Seneca Street, Salamanca, New York, formerly of Windfall Road, Killbuck, New York died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the Olean General Hospital, Olean, New York following a brief illness.

Born on April 6, 1921 in Buffalo, New York she was the daughter of the late John and Susan Johler Greenhauer. She was married to Mr. Leo C. Cooper who predeceased her in November 1976.

Mrs. Cooper was employed at Acme Electric in Allegany, New York prior to her retirement.

She was a member of Jimersontown Presbyterian Church, Past Matron & Grand Officer of Order of Eastern Star Mizpah Chapter #162.

Surviving are: a daughter, Sue Swetland, 374 Broad Street, Salamanca, New York; 2 grandchildren, Scott Swetland, Stephanie (Lee Milks) Swetland, both of Salamanca, New York; 5 great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.

Tentatively, funeral services will be held in the Jimersontown Presbyterian Church on Friday morning at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Marvin Abrams, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Horseshoe Cemetery, Carrollton, New York.
