Marjorie J. Wojtowicz

Marjorie J. Wojtowicz, age 82, formerly of 31 Fairmount Avenue, Salamanca, New York died Sunday (September 30, 2007) at the Cuba Memorial Hospital, Cuba, New York.

Born on December 31, 1924 in Erie, Pa. she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ethel Barnes Heilig. She was married in Holy Cross Church on January 18, 1947 to Marshall Wojtowicz who predeceased her on February 4, 1987.

Mrs. Wojtowicz was a member of Holy Cross Church and she was a Gray Lady at the former Salamanca District Hospital.

Surviving are: a son, Gregory (Tammy) Wojtowicz, Ellicottville, New York; a daughter-in-law, Christine Wojtowicz, New York City; 3 grandchildren, Sarah Wojtowicz, Christopher Wojtowicz, all of Ellicottville, New York; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son Dennis Wojtowicz, and a sister, Mildred Wojtowicz.

Friends may call at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Fuenral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Thursday from 9:00 - 11:00 A.M. at which time a prayer service will be held.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Holy Cross Church on Thursday morning at 11:30 A.M. with Rev. Piotr Zaczynski, pastor of Holy Cross/ St. Patrick's Church as celebrant.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca, New York.
