Mark William Bierfeldt

Mark William Bierfeldt, age 45, of Pimlico Avenue, Salamanca, NY, died Friday, April 11, 2014 at Olean General Hospital.

Born June 26, 1968 in Salamanca, NY, he was the son of William P. Bierfeldt and Jerry Bierfeldt.

He was a 1988 graduate of Salamanca Central High School.

Mark was employed at the Salamanca Nursing Home, Walmart in Bradford, PA and the Salamanca Antique Mall.

Mark was a kind, giving & gentle person who was liked by everyone. He shared many "smiles".

Surviving are: 1 brother, Steven G. (Koren) Bierfeldt of Westlake, Ohio; 2 nephews, Jackson Bierfeldt of Chicago, Illinois and William Bierfeldt of Ohio; a niece, Samantha Bierfeldt of Ohio; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service to celebrate Mark's life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 1:00 pm at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 99 Wildwood Avenue, Salamanca, NY with the Father Michael Lonto, officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
