Martha Woodarek
Mrs. Martha Woodarek, 89, of Ellicottville, NY died Sunday evening, January 3, 2021 at Olean General Hospital following a long illness. A mother, grandmother, great-grandmother whose sole purpose was to nourish with love, not only her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids, but also numerous other neighborhood children in her life. She impacted so many lives and will continue to do so because she will not rest, she will work like she did her whole life. After she is done rejoicing with her parents, siblings, and her savior, she will go to work being the best damn guardian angel you or your loved ones will ever need! Just say a prayer and she will be there for you because that is what she does. Heaven has a new warrior with your best interest at heart and her wings are guaranteed! Let us rejoice with her!
Born April 18, 1931 in Ellicottville, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and A. Irene Mook Viereck. She was married July 28, 1948 to Mr. W. William Woodarek, who predeceased her on November 28, 1999.
She was a member of Holy Name of Mary RC Church in Ellicottville, NY.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Arthur Viereck, Donald Viereck, Paul Viereck, two sisters, Ruth Kizer, Emma Chamberlain, a great-grandson, Christopher Riley, and a daughter-in-law, Donna Woodarek.
Family and friends called at the family home, 32 Elizabeth Street, Ellicottville, NY on Thursday, January 7, 2021.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held in Holy Name of Mary RC Church, Ellicottville, NY on Friday at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Patrick Melfi, pastor, as celebrant.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Ellicottville, NY.
