Mary A. Kosinski
Mrs. Mary A. Kosinski, 82, of Salamanca, NY died early Sunday morning, December 16, 2018 at the Bradford Ecumenical Home in Bradford, PA following a long illness.
Born March 26, 1936 in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Margaret Villers Murphy.
She was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1954.
She had been employed with the Salamanca Central School System as an aide for over 20 years, working in Prospect and the former Jefferson Street Elementary schools, retiring in 1996.
Mrs. Kosinski was a member of Our Lady of Peace parish, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, working on puzzles, and travelling. She loved the ocean, walking on the beach, and her dogs.
Surviving are: three daughters, Lynne (Craig) Fuller, Bahama, NC, Michele (Paul) Prentice, Frewsburg, NY, Dona (Joe) Rychcik, Youngstown, NY; two sons, David (Debbie) Kosinski, Murfreesboro, TN, Robert Kosinski, Kill Buck, NY; a son-in-law, Rick Sloan, Murfreesboro, TN; 19 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren
She was predeceased by a daughter, Laurie Kosinski, and a brother, Brother Timothy Murphy S.C.J.
There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Bradford Ecumenical Home, 100 St. Francis Drive, Bradford, PA 16701.
