Mary Bailey

Mrs. Mary K. Bailey, age 87, of Lake Worth, Florida died on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Hospice of Palm Beach County in Atlantis, Florida.

Born on July 19, 1923 in Plymouth, Pa. she was the daughter of the late Peter and Catherine Bukovich Kasenchak. She was married on October 16, 1948 to Mr. Leonard Bailey who predeceased her on July 31, 1989.

Mrs. Bailey was employed with the Dept. of Immigration and Naturalization Services in Miami, Fla. for over 30 years retiring in 1980.

She was a member of St. Matthews Roman Catholic Church in Lake Worth, Fla.

Surviving are: a daughter, Kathryn (Gary) Scofield, Pembroke Pines, Fla.; 2 sons, Leonard (Marilyn) Bailey, Davie, Fla., Michael J. Bailey, Lake Worth, Fla.; 3 grandchildren; a sister, Helen (Samuel) Sawka, Manassas, Va.; 1 brother, Michael (Arline) Kasen, Port Orange, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, George Kasen.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York on Friday, January 28, 2011 from 4-7 P.M.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday morning, January 29, 2011 at 10 A.M. in Our Lady of Peace Parish.

Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca, New York.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests Memorials to Cystic Fibrosis, 1775 Wehrle Drive, Suite 150, Williamsville, New York 14221.
