Mary Fox

Mrs. Mary Fox, age 86, of Pine Street, Salamanca, New York died early Saturday morning, May 9, 2015 at the Olean General Hospital following a short illness.

Born January 15, 1929 in Montreal, Canada and raised in New Foundland, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Lily Harvey Gould. She was married in 1960 to Mr. Robert W. Fox, who predeceased her in November 2010.

Mrs. Fox was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Pearl River, New York, where she enjoyed volunteering.

Surviving are: a daughter, Pamela (Edward) McClure, Salamanca, NY; three granddaughters, Janette, Megan, and Colleen McClure, all of Salamanca, NY; three sisters, Ida Bollen, Olive Reed, Dallas Gould, all of Quincy, MA; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Frederick Gould.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Michael Lonto officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.

Entombment will be in St. Stephen’s Episcopal Cemetery, Pearl River, New York.
