Mary Fuller
Mary F. Fuller, age 89, of Wildwood Avenue, Salamanca, New York, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at the Pines Health Care & Rehabilitation Center in Olean, New York.
Born on September 7, 1921, in Salamanca, New York she was the daughter of the late James & Maude Nobles Fuller.
She was employed at Sylvania in Batavia, New York for 25 years. Previously, she had worked at the former Sheble & Wood Woolen Mills in Salamanca, New York.
Mary loved her family and took great pleasure in helping all who needed her help. One of her greatest pleasures was knitting and crocheting. Her flower gardens were the envy of all who visited her. She was a true lover of all animals including her cats, Ru and Mr. Ed, both strays she adopted.
Surviving are: 4 sisters, Leitha (Ruddy) Sargent, Olean, New York, Lois (Dan) Steinbroner, Olean, New York, Lona Leiplein, Moore, South Carolina, Eva Woodmancy, Great Valley, New York; 2 brothers, James "Tony" (Florence) Fuller, Killbuck, New York, Douglas (Vivian) Fuller, Killbuck, New York; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by 5 sisters, Dora Campbell, Norma Mange, June Fuller, Betty Jean Claybach, Joyce Halterman, 5 brothers, Robert Fuller, Charles Fuller, Frederick Fuller, John Fuller, and Taylor Fuller.
Private visitation and funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca, New York.
The family suggests memorials to the S.P.C.A., Interfaith Caregivers, American Heart Association, or the donor's choice.
