Mary Leger

Mrs. Mary Leger, 66, of Pine Tree Village, Ellicottville, New York died Sunday (April 29, 2007) at her home.

Born January 13, 1941 in Hornell, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anastasia Malanowski Zaporski. In May of 1971 she married Mr. Wallance Leger who predeceased her.

Mrs. Leger was employed at the Norwood/Norfolk Central School prior to her retirement.

She attended Holy Cross in Salamanca, Holy Name of Mary church in Ellicottville NY, and was a member of the Holy Cross Rosary Society.

Surviving are one brother Paul (Janet) Zaprowski of Greenboro, North Carolina and two nephews. Predeceased are two brothers Thomas Zaproski and John Zaproski.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
